I am looking into buying a good carpet cleaning machine. I have looked at some brands like Bissel (spelling?)… and Hoover. Anyone know anything about them or own one? Are the supplies for them expensive? I also want something that wont leave a residue. Thanks for any help!

The nonheated ones more expensive and heavier but will clean better.

For 24 hours and the professionals use alsono need it as far as far as far as hoover never used theirs but hate their vacuums.
My husband bought me the cleaners for them dont cost too much either they are carried at walmart zellers most stores.
Renting a rug doctor’s the best way to go, commercial quality equipment without having to buy it. Otherwise the bissell proheat series is good. Hoover not so great in my experience….
