While they won’t be eating the cleaner, they will be lying on the carpet, breathing fumes, and may occasionally lick the carpet. (Sigh.)

The carpet is too dirty for plain baking soda to help much.
I welcome your answers; please let me know if you have used the method yourself.

I see alot of promotional deals for carpet cleaning companies saying that they can take pet odor out of the carpet at low prices but I need a personal experience opinion. Has anyone used a carpet cleaning company and got wonderful results?

I have white berber carpet and 3 kids! I want to buy a carpet cleaning machine like Hoover or Bissel. Which one is the best?
Please be specific, as there are many makes and models.
Let me be a little more specific–I mean a steam-type cleaning machine!!!! Sorry

I’m contemplating on getting my carpet cleaned house cleaned before I sell my house. Are carpet cleaning and housekeeping services worth the money, or can I do just as good a job myself? I don’t want to pay someone to clean, and then end up having to clean where they left off. Also, how much should I expect to pay to have my 1,800 sq.ft. house cleaned and its carpet cleaned? Thanks a million!

I recently moved and I cleaned the carpets. I still got charged 95$ for carpet cleaning..When I rented an apartment in Texas I was not charged for carpet cleaning, it was considered normal wear and tear after 6 months, as long as there were no stains. I now live in Arkansas. Can anyone help me out with what the laws are as a renter?
