The previous owners of our house had someone clean the carpet and now the carpet has this pink tint in the areas where it has been cleaned.
Does anyone know what happened? What kind of chemicals he may have used to cause this? We’ve tried a ChemDry cleaning service, and even they couldn’t figure out what specifically caused the pink tint and how to get it out.

We live in military housing, and are getting ready to move. SInce we have carpeting, they will be doing a black light inspection. How can we clean the carpet so that nothing shows on the inspection? Someone said that if we use Tide with Bleach in our carpet cleaner when we shampoo the carpet nothing will show during the inspection, does this work?
My friend just said that she read somewhere that a vinegar solution takes out old stains, anyone else know if this works or not?

I just bought a carpet cleaning machine.I need to know how to use it.I need to know how to clean my livingroom carpet.How may times do I go over a section with carpet cleaner and how many times do I rinse.Do I keep going over one section of carpet until the water is as clean as the clean as the clean water.How do I know when my carpet is clean.

Ok. As aweful of a person as this makes me sound, I godda do it. My life has been SO busy for like the past week, and I haven’t had much time to spend with my puppies. They have made my craft room their unofficial litter box (in a remote area of the house). Upon finding what they had been doing, I shut them out of that room. I don’t have a carpet machine, and was wondering what thee best way to clean up the mess would be…it’s pretty bad. I’ve already picked up what I could.

I used Woolite Oxy Deep on a few places on my very old, dirty teal carpet, and the areas I used it on it look slightly blue-green. It hasn’t dried fully yet, but I want to know if this means the carpet has been discolored. If so, is there anything I can use to correct the problem? What is the best way to clean a medium-pile carpet? Home machine or professional? Please tell me which machine or service you recommend. Thanks!
