it is time to wash my dogs mat. It is like carpet. I would like to know what cleaning product I can use on it. My APBT has sensitive so anything that touches her will make her loose her fur, and she has really sensitive paws. Anything that touches them, makes her paws swell up (been tot he vet many times for that) so basically anything safe.

I had my carpet steam cleaned today. The smell of the cleaning product was quite strong. About an hour or so after the guy left, my carbon monoxide alarm sounded. No one has any symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning. I’ve vented the house and the alarm no longer sounds.

Does anyone know whether the carpet cleaning product could have caused a false alarm?
