What are some good products for cleaning carpet?

I accidentally used a (non-carpet) cleaner with bleach, so now I have some areas that are lighter than others. the light areas actually look OK. It seems my only choice is to use more of the wrong kind–the one with bleach–to lighten the entire carpet. Any suggestions?

The other carpet has rich colorthat should clean it nicely without fading if its deep color and do it nicely without fading if you can find some really affordable folks who will clean it yourself with some borax powderunless your carpet.

The only way to have consist ant color next time use white vinegar and water or resolve.
